Mysuru Airport officially inaugurated a new direct flight service connecting Hyderabad and Mysuru today, marking a pivotal expansion in regional connectivity under the Summer Schedule 2026. This daily service aims to bolster tourism, trade, and ease of travel between the two historic cities.
The commencement of the service was celebrated with an inaugural ceremony held at Mysuru Airport at 12:00 hrs. The event was graced by Shri Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamraja Wadiyar, Honourable Member of Parliament (Mysuru–Kodagu), who officially flagged off the service. He was joined by Shri G.T. Devegowda, Honourable MLA, alongside senior airport officials and representatives from the aviation sector.
The new daily service, operated under flight numbers 6E7047and 6E7048*, offers convenient afternoon slots for business and leisure travelers:
6E7047 Hyderabad (HYD) → Mysuru (MYQ) DEP from HYD at 12:10 hrs and arrival at MYQ at 14:00 hrs Daily.
6E7048Mysuru (MYQ) → Hyderabad (HYD) Departure from MYQ at14:20 hrs and arrival at HYD at 16:00 hrs.
The addition of the Hyderabad route is a strategic step in Mysuru Airport’s mission to enhance its domestic network. By providing a direct link to one of India’s major IT and pharmaceutical hubs, the airport is set to offer passengers improved flexibility and reduced travel times.
With this new connectivity, Mysuru Airport continues to solidify its role as a key gateway to Southern India, supporting the economic and cultural growth of the region.
